Training Co-ordinator

Role Purpose:

  • To provide general support in the Shared Services Team on People Team tasks
  • To support the delivery and integration of training programmes across the Hoist Group (outsourced and/or in-house) to ensure employees have the necessary capabilities, knowledge and behaviours to perform to high standards in a regulated financial services environment
  • Ensure consistency of approach is applied to learning and support programmes in Hoist Finance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map out annual training plans/schedules for continuous professional development
  • Develop and co-ordinate local learning activities and plans, inclusive of training, logistics such as venue hire, delegate lists and invites
  • Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions/workshops
  • Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
  • Manage and maintain facilities and equipment
  • Administer and monitor elearn platform
  • Research and evaluate training software programmes and map workflow processes to automate administrative tasks
  • Review, collate and analyse training requirements from PDD process
  • Assess effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPI’s
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each learning event
  • To develop and maintain learning reporting/dashboards and supporting PDD database
  • Maintain training database and records
  • Support Train the Trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
  • Research and recommend new training methods, apps, gamification etc
  • Support the development and delivery of mentoring and coaching programmes
  • Conduct organisation-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed, working with business stakeholders
  • Support responding to Client Audit requirements, obtaining information and using it to respond to Audit questionnaires / Client queries

Experience, Knowledge & Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Training Co-odinator or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and high personal standards
  • Strong creative ability
  • Experience with e-learn platforms
  • Advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Degree level education, Training, HR or related field
  • Proven experience of delivering learning solutions via range of training techniques
  • Verbal and written fluency in English
  • Verbal and written fluency in second modern language other than Polish
  • Demonstrates energy, commitment, resilience and reliability under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and within a matrix structure to drive continuous improvement
  • Results focused and deadline driven
  • Strong communication skills and ability to empathise / engage with stakeholders
  • Able to prepare clear and concise plans and present verbally in a persuasive manner; tailored appropriately for the audience
  • IT skills including Microsoft applications
  • Works with initiative and strong self-starter
